Spices and Blends

All our spice blends are blended by hand in small batches to ensure freshness and quality control.  All spices used are Non-GMO, non irradiated and organic wherever possible. This means that the colour and texture may vary from time to time depending on the raw ingredients available when blending.

No fillers, colourants, free flow agents or preservatives are used and us such, clumping may occur over time.  All products packaged in glass jars.

  • ORGANIC TURMERIC:
    Great health benefits and a classic ingredient in Middle Eastern and Indian dishes

  • SMOKED PAPRIKA:
    Adds a delicious smokey flavour to any meal.

  • MOROCCAN SPICE (Ras el Hanout): 
    Translated as “head of shop,” this Arabic phrase means “top shelf.” Legend has it this Moroccan spice blend was created by North African spice dealers who would mix together the best of what they had on offer to create a signature flavour.

  • PORTUGUESE SPICE:
    Traditional flavours of smoked paprika, garlic and chilli blended with other herbs and spices make this delicious spice perfect for chicken and beef dishes.

  • ITALIAN HERBS:
    This classic combination of herbs goes well with everything ... even a toasted cheese sandwich

  • JERK RUB:

    Jerk is a traditional style of cooking native to Jamaica where meat is dry rubbed with a spice blend before cooking.  Contrary to popular belief, Jerk spice does not have to be hot.  Our Jerk Rub is full of flavour without the burn so even children can enjoy it.

  • CURRY POWDER:

    What is a spice blend range without Curry? Use a small amount for a flavourful curry that is not too hot.  To heat things up, just add more Curry Powder to your pot.

  • SMOKEY BBQ:
    When you're looking for that smokey flavour on your braai meat or vegetables, this is the way to go.

  • ROAST CHICKEN:

    Need we say more, sprinkle on your chicken before roasting or frying and savour the delicious flavour that makes you want to come back for more.

  • HOT & SPICY
    If you like hot spice, this one is for you. Chicken wings and pork ribs have never tasted this good before.

  • STEAK RUB

    Our take on the classic Montreal steak seasoning used to spice steak and grilled meat. But you don't have to stop there, this spice is delicious on potatoes and roast vegetables too.
